Infrared (IR) rays are the part of the invisible spectrum that we experience as heat. IR rays are able to penetrate our tissues and provide natural relaxing warmth.

Its ability to penetrate our skin and muscles results in IR rays’ being seven times more effective than a traditional sauna. This leads to many healthy benefits. Unlike UV (ultraviolet) rays, IR rays will never burn your skin. IR heat is completely healthy and safe and is even used in hospitals to keep newborn infants warm and comfortable.

Our saunas’ heaters emit a very safe and effective level of only IR rays. Many research studies have indicated that exposure to these rays (as opposed to UV rays) is GOOD for our health and also results in a much more relaxed state of mind.
